Welcome to Queenswood in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.  Here you'll find a quiet, peaceful home-away-from-home and the freedom to structure your own time while on sabbatical or study leave.  Queenswood retreats include:

• Our first-rate amenities, including a therapeutic pool, 12,000-volume library and beautiful grounds.
• Daily classes in yoga, art, meditation and more.

Eucharist is also celebrated almost daily onsite at the Sisters of St. Ann residence and weekly at Queenswood. 

We offer sabbaticals (guests staying one month or longer) a complimentary Focus Session with a staff member who can explore all your options with you.

Additional Onsite Options

There are also many other programs and services to add additional value to your sabbatical retreat.

• Our retreat programs, which focus on relevant topics in health, wellness and spirituality.  As a sabbatical guest, you receive a special rate for retreat programs.
  
• Massage, Reiki and other wellness services are also available onsite at a variety of fee levels, paid directly to the service providers.
• Spiritual Direction: we have an excellent selection of trained directors and counslors who can meet with you on-site.  We suggest our ministry sabbatical guests consider taking advantage of spiritual direction for purposes of integration.

Queenswood partners with the South Island Centre (formerly known as Island Pastoral Services) to offer ministry development programs specifically designed for sabbatical guests:

• The Two Day Individual Program allows for two full days at the Queenswood Centre in Victoria with a counsellor. Approximately ten hours is required for completion of at-home inventories and questionnaires before on-site appointments are made. All personal materials and profiles are treated with professional confidence and are released only with the written consent of the client.
• The Three Day Couple Program is designed to include your spouse/partner as a full  participant in the career assessment experience. Approximately ten hours of home  preparatory work is required. Decisions made as a couple are usually more realistic and mutually supported.
