B.Ed., M.T.S., M.A.P.P.C. degrees. Trained as a spiritual director in 1991, I have worked directing: silent retreats, individuals on their personal spiritual journeys, and people doing the Ignatian exercises in daily life. I am a trained mid-life/long-life transitions facilitator and a pastoral counselor with a specialization in art therapy. Ignatian spirituality with its emphasis on praying the scriptures forms a core part of my training and focus. Working with the personality theory of the Enneagram is also an area of interest and expertise. I delight in helping people discover how loved they are by God and facilitating their journey to become all they've been created to be- God's work of art!

I have finished my Masters of Arts of Pastoral Psychology & Counselling degree with a specialization in Art therapy. I am working now at South Island Centre (250-472-2851) on the corner of Cedar Hill & Cedar Hill X-Road. There I see people for spiritual direction and counselling through the centre and through my own private practice. I hope to do workshops there on prayer, mid-life, and enneagram. Barbara Holt and I plan to continue to offer retreats if we can locate a suitable site (possdibly Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo). We are also open to offering retreat days or weekends teaching Ignatian spirituality and prayer methods. I can be contacted through South Island Centre or at my home e-mail address or phone number.
