nonviolent communication

Learn respect for yourself and others in conflict situations through Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication.  With this communication tool, you will

  • create more ease and understanding in your relationships
  • develop the ability to be aware of your judgments, which get in the way of being present when listening and develop the ability to choose how you will respond rather than just reacting emotionally
  • grow in self-awareness and understanding, leading to acceptance and compassion for oneself
  • learn more effective ways of handing difficult people, situations, and day-to-day stress

Carla Munro has a BA from the University of Toronto and is an experienced facilitator of restorative practices and processes in prisons, schools and community settings using the language of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).   The intention of NVC is to develop a quality of connection that allows us to understand and care about each other’s needs, and together explore ways to meet both of our needs.  Carla has been passionately promoting this heart to heart connection for the past five years.
