body prayer - all levels
Body Prayer is a series of exercises choreographed to beautiful, inspirational songs. It's a way of using our bodies to give thanks. After all, our bodies are temples of God and so let us dance as King David did before the ark of the covenant to rejoice and praise the Lord (2 Samuel 6:14).
In this class, I’ll be using simple stretches and movements suitable for all age groups and all levels of fitness. I’ve also included some movements from tai chi, pilates and yoga.

Teacher (Nita Ng): St Francis' prayer, “Make Me a Channel of Your Peace”, describes what I want to be when I grow up. Better yet, I get to do it through the “channels” I love – yoga and art.
I am a yoga teacher, batik artist and writer. I love sharing what I do with others through classes, workshops, retreats, as well as through her paintings and writings. I am originally from Malaysia but would travel anywhere where I am needed.
Here at Queenswood, I lead Body Prayer, Laughter Yoga, Aqua Exercises, Aqua Yoga and Asian Art classes using batik, Chinese brush painting and Chinese calligraphy.
